Custom Order

Designed with you in mind

Fused glass made especially for you

I design fused glass art, which I fire in a small kiln in my workroom. Please see the product section of my website for examples of my designs and approximate costs.

My fused glass is custom made to order and every piece is unique. If you see something you like on my website, or you’d like me to design something especially for you, please get in touch. I’ll do my best to help you.

The cost of my designs varies widely and I can make fused glass for any budget. Cost is dependent on the size, the type of glass, the time it takes to make, the number of times the piece is fired in the kiln, and whether any hangers, stands or candle holders are included. Please contact me if you’d like an estimate. I promise I won’t pressurise you to buy anything. I want to bring my clients pleasure, not upset them!

Things to think about

  • 1.

What sort of product would you like? For example, a picture, a placemat or a free standing curve?

  • 2.

What size would you like it to be? The maximum size I can fit in my kiln is 30x30cm, but several tiles can be put together.

  • 3.

Where would you like to display it? Maybe in a window to catch the light, on a wall or a surface, or in a stand?

  • 4.

Do you need hangers or jewellery hangers fixing onto your glass? Or perhaps you’d like a hole drilled through it, or a candle holder to stand it in?

  • 5.

If you’d like me to copy a photograph, please bear in that the photo needs to have some strong features, and it’s difficult to do small details in glass. Colours are often brighter than the photo and the final picture is stylised.

Let’s go!

If you decide you’d like to place an order, I will go through everything with you beforehand, making sure I know exactly what you want, and checking you understand what’s involved in making your glass, and how it’s likely to look when it’s finished. I’ll let you know how long it’s likely to take. Some designs take a few weeks, especially if I need to order glass in specially, or if your piece needs firing more than once. I will also work out the cost in advance.
